Dear Parishioners and Friends,
I am pleased to announce that the work on our church dome has resumed on Monday August 12.  The cross was secured in its place and a generous amount of foam has been applied to cover the aluminum plate connecting it to the dome as well as at least 4 in above the base.  This is crucial as it will eliminate future problems of having the water retained below the cross as it did in the past. 
 
This week, all materials for the roofing of our church complex have been delivered and we wired a required payment for materials of $100,000 to CES Roofing, the company that is handling our church roof complex project.
 
We launched the “Raise the Roof” fundraiser campaign to raise $200,000 to offset the cost not covered by our insurance.  We are currently at $37,184 or 18.59% of our goal. 
 
On the other hand, our Fundraising Ministry is currently planning “Let’s Raise the Roof” fundraiser event which will take place on Saturday September 21 with all proceeds going to support our campaign.
