Dear Parishioners and Friends,

 

After much anticipation and lengthy meetings with various roofing companies, I am pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with CES Roofing to fix the roof of our church complex as well as the dome.  We also signed a contract with Freetail Roofing to fix The Julia J. Sawyer Event Center’s roof.

I would like personally to thank the Roof Committee formed by: Jimmy Nassour, Carl Daywood, Marc Parmelee and Mike Kalish for all their hard work.  May God bless you all for your labor of love.

The anticipated starting date is Monday, June 24.  Let us all pray to Our Lord and God and to Our Blessed Mother Mary, patroness of our church, that this project runs smoothly.  The repairs on the church complex roof will total $255,146 and the repairs on The Julia J. Sawyer Event Center roof will total $101,633.

We are launching our “Raise the Roof Fundraiser" with a goal of $200,000 to help offset the cost not covered by the insurance. Please see below a flyer that showcases the damages sustained to our church roof, our church dome and The Julia J. Sawyer Event Center roof as well as the itemized cost of all the expenses that we will incur.  We are anticipating a timeline of 8 weeks for completion.
